Getty Images, a preeminent global visual content creator and marketplace, today announced it will serve as the Official Photographer of the National Urban League’s 2022 Heartland Tour, a series of events that aims to redefine public safety in urban communities.

As the Official Photographer of the 2022 Heartland Tour, Getty Images’ award‑winning photographers will capture images from each event’s panel discussion and the community engagement. The first event of the tour, Youth Summit 2022, will take place on April 28th in Chicago. Imagery from the tour will be available on gettyimages.com.

In response to police violence in cities around the United States, the Heartland Tour is a first step toward rebuilding the trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve. The tour will make stops in Kansas City, Los Angeles and Rochester and feature community leaders including police commissioners, civil rights attorneys, and faith leaders.
