London — 29 June, 2021: Getty Images, a world leader in visual communications, and Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. [Wolves], a professional association football club based in the city of Wolverhampton, have today announced a partnership which sees Getty Images become their exclusive photographic provider.

Under the agreement, Getty Images will work closely with Wolves to re‑launch their integrated visual strategy, which will be rolled out across all their teams, including Wolves Women, Wolves Esports and Under‑23’s. As part of this, Getty Images’ first‑in‑class editorial and creative insights teams will provide support on content creation and distribution, with all imagery syndicated to Getty Images’ over one million global customers, via their industry leading distribution platform, to license for editorial purposes. In addition, Getty Images’ specialist esports photographers will work closely with Wolves to develop their visual strategy surrounding in‑game imagery.

To support Wolves promote their club heritage and drive deeper engagement with their fanbase, Wolves will also have access to Getty Images’ world‑class archive, which contains over 130 million assets and includes some of the very first images of the club dating back to the late 19th century.
