Auckland – 18 February 2026: Getty Images (NYSE:GETY), a preeminent visual content creator and marketplace, has today announced a partnership with New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME) to licence images from its flagship publication ‑ The New Zealand Herald.

Featuring more than 10,000 historical photographs spanning the 162‑year history of The New Zealand Herald, the premium image collection will be updated daily with the latest visual content. The collection encompasses both contemporary news coverage and a comprehensive archive of images capturing New Zealand's history ‑ from pivotal political moments and sporting triumphs to significant historical events.
