London — 11 November, 2021: Getty Images, a world leader in visual communications, has been appointed as official photography partner by globally leading LGBTQ+ media brand GAY TIMES, for SKITTLES® GAY TIMES Honours delivered by GORILLAS on Friday 19 November 2021.
Getty Images has partnered with GAY TIMES since 2019, and this year will deliver exclusive coverage throughout the show, with an exclusive portrait studio and coverage of arrivals on the red carpet.

The prestigious awards ceremony and annual music event, a celebration of LGBTQ+ community and culture, returns live to the stage this year. Once again held in the heart of the capital at Magazine London, this year’s Honours will feature a full star‑studded line‑up of performers including: Rina Sawayama, RAYE, Baby Queen, Poppy Ajudha and Kwaye. There will also be DJ sets from The Blessed Madonna, ABSOLUTE., Jaguar and OUTHAUS.

After last year’s ceremony was celebrated digitally with a content‑first approach due to COVID‑19 restrictions, Getty Images is thrilled to be partnering with GAY TIMES as they bring the community back together for a night that recognises queer excellence unlike any other, boasting a dazzling and vibrant guest list of celebrated LGBTQ+ talent and heroes, as well as community leaders and allies.

Tag Warner, CEO, GAY TIMES, said: “GAY TIMES Honours is the biggest night of queer culture, community activism and entertainment. This year’s event is no different and will be our most ambitious yet.”

“Accessibility has always been at the heart of GAY TIMES Honours, so we are thrilled to be able to open our doors once‑again to the LGBTQ+ public, with a free‑to‑attend, inclusive space. Our partners make this accessibility possible so we’re particularly grateful to them. With support from partners and allies such as Getty Images we are also able to extend the reach of our event and share the excitement with a wider audience through their amazing content.”

Lisa Marie Rae, Senior Director of Entertainment & Video, Getty Images said, “We are proud to once again partner with GAY TIMES to capture the fun, fashion and fabulous performers of a night celebrating the queer community. Getty Images is delighted to be able to help share the excitement of the night to a wider audience unable to be there in person through our images and video.”

Now in its fifth year, GAY TIMES’ iconic event is not only opened up to world famous talent and community VIPs, but the awards will once again open its doors to the public. Audiences will be invited to enjoy the event live in person, as well as online across GAY TIMES’ social channels.

Tickets to GAY TIMES Honours 2021 are now available through GAYTIMES.co.uk and across all social channels, in partnership with DICE. Entry to the event is free, with tickets including a £10 donation to Amplifund, the organisation’s global philanthropic initiative in partnership with the award‑winning LGBTQ+ human rights charity GiveOut that aims to amplify queer voices to global audiences and support LGBTQ+ activists around the world in their campaigning and media work.
